  1. Made for a cancer survivor with brain cancer in cotton yarn I've used for dishcloths as he said that all beanies he'd found to cover his new skin were to hot in summer. Great gift to cancer centers if your looking to help out. So quick to make, adjust to Gauge for yarn by adding rows of add on stitches to measure to 22" circumference.

    1. Unfortunately this would not work with size 4 yarn but I do have a very similar mens hat pattern that you can try. It calls for worsted weight yarn, you can find it here: https://byjennidesigns.blogspot.com/2014/12/mens-basic-beanie-folded-beanie-or.html

  3. Can you explain what "hdc in 2" and "dc in 9" mean? I've tried to figure it out, but I don't understand the "in 2" or "in 9" part. Thank you!

    1. Hi Jennifer and thanks for your question! "Hdc in 2" means your will Half Double Crochet in each of the next 2 stitches. "Dc in 9" means to Double Crochet in each of the next 9 stitches. I hope this helps!
