Row 2-37: Ch 2, turn, dc in same and in each across.
(Do not fasten off yet)

After row 37 I suggest you try on the headband to make sure you like the fit. Adjust accordingly.

Ch 1 and hold the ends together while slip stitching across, making sure to work through the loops on both ends. You can also choose to hand sew the ends together if you wish.
Fasten off and sew in ends.

Flower

Row 1: Magic circle, ch 2 (counts as dc), 9 dc in circle. Join. (10 dc)
Row 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in same, 3 dc in next and in each around. Join. (30 dc)
Row 3: *Ch 6, skip 4, sl st in next* Repeat *to* around for a total of 6 ch spaces. The last sl st should be worked in the same sp as the beginning ch and counts as your join.
Row 4: Sl st into first ch space, *[ch 1, sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc], sl st into next ch space.* Repeat *to* around for a total of 6 petals. The last sl st is also the join. Now you will work behind the petals you just created and in the unworked stitches from row 2. The stitches you want to work into are directly to the left of the stitches you sl st-ed into for row 3. In the photo below I marked the stitches you should be using.
